Lucky "Philip" Dube est né le 3 août 1964 à Ermelo, Mpumalanga, Afrique du Sud et mort le 18 octobre 2007 à Rosettenville, et c'étais le chanteur Reggae Sud-africain le plus engagé et il l'a payé de sa vie même si les hautes autorités ont trouvé une autre cause pour éviter tout polémique.
